Hello, I'm Lissa.
I’m a Los Angeles-based personal finance expert and advocate for inclusion.
As a lifelong learner hoping to manage my money better, I read some personal finance books and enrolled in CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ classes.
A few pages into the CFP® curriculum, my mind was blown away 🤯. I saw that a world of wealth existed that I had ZERO chance of being exposed to as a Filipino American daughter of working class immigrants.
This led me to share educational videos on TikTok to make financial knowledge more accessible to historically marginalized groups. Wealth for Women of Color attracted an audience, and the rest was history.
I embarked on a mission to help more women of color build wealth… because we deserve it.
Previously, I spent 13 years in business roles at Google, YouTube, and Fox Sports.
